and we won. He gets slaughtered for his changes but pretty much zero credit when he makes changes and we win. He deserves credit today.
A win built on the foundations of solid defence.

Look at that table, some pre season favourites at the wrong end of the league, I know it's early days but happy to take any positives.

I still think it is. Hume pushed it away and the defender caught his legs. Magnificent referreeing decision imo :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I reckon the back three were very good today with Flanagan the pick of them.

I was always going to judge Parky on his points return and as long as we're over 2 points a game average, that will do. Defensively I think we'll be okay but does sound like we're struggling a bit in the final third and it does place an awful lot of pressure on your defence to be at their best if you struggle to score. Not sure what the answer is but it certainly isn't Wyke.

For all their pressure and pace at times I can't recall Burge having to make any world class saves.

First thing I done after reading this was to check the predictions like. Well done, but I do hope you're bigging it up because you got all the others wrong.

Couple early doors that were good saves if not unexpected.

He was a lot more assured. Grant is like a new signing so far, I had him out of the team but he’s been quality 3 on the bounce now.

I wonder how often that phrase will be used 'Burge, world class saves"

I know it's the norm for most managers but I would prefer a manager to try to think outside the box for a change

I seriously doubt it, Moyes is a disaster.
I'm not a huge fan of Parkies but after consecutive wins and clean sheets against 2 of the best teams in the league it hardly feels like the appropriate time to be laying into him.

I really think we will be top 2 this season.

They hit the bar and had one cleared off the line - Burge was nowhere near those two chances. Apart from that I thought he did well today.

Previous years we would have lost that game so can thank PP for that. Still say we miss positivity in substitutions. Still lack pace through the side and still lack a goalscorer for the 2nd season in a row.

Overall we have to be very happy with our start to the season, on paper everyone feared the first 4 games and so far we have 7 points from them. Go again next week and any positive result will really set us up for the season

Play the way we have so far and we wont get near top two, just my opinion.
