I can only drink cider or German beers, pallete is fine tuned after years of living in the Vaterland. Erdinger and Herforder are my favourites, mind I've recently dabbled with some fine English real ales, still doesn't beat the German stuff though.
Give it a try mate, Erdinger is a fine tasting beer, similar to Hoegarden, Herforder is a pilsner with Novichok style strength. Germans have a purity law so no chemicals, this does not stop absolute stinking hangovers though.
Apologies if already posted but no supporters in stadiums until March, that will be a massive drain on clubs finances. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...news/sunderland-fans-not-able-return-19002216 Somebody just beat me to it so mods, delete if you want.
But it means that SD et al won’t be able to finance the club for ever , so it leaves him with decisions to make and quickly. Hopefully this will progress the takeover talks.
It has been a gamble by SD and failed miserably. If I was the investor or takeover consortium I would be reducing the offer on a sliding time scale now. If thats legal of course.
No one saw COVID coming for sure. The potential buyers will definitely have planned/budgeted for it though imo.
That makes sense to me. Back in the day when I actually drank to get drunk there was a massive difference between the stella brewed in the uk and abroad. The foreign stuff tasted better and never gave me a hangover while the UK stuff did. Can't say I've ever noticed it smelling like weed either but I was a massive smoker back in the day an all so me nose porbably isn't sensitive enough to pick that up. Canny excuse though, no officer that isn't a joint I'm smoking, it's stella.
I love a decent pint of real ale However few and far between for various reasons Not much good ale about I drink mostly small bottles and craft beers I’m trying to limit my fluid intake However I’m susceptible to a decent pint now and again
