We must live quite close to each other angelic. That Asda is the single worst shop I've been in for mask-wearing, naff all most times I've been in there.

why doesn't Boris just come out and say it?
" we are going into a further lockdown because a large swathe of the population has failed to have a thought for their fellow humans [ he did give a little hint on that failure ] and because of their selfishness the whole country is suffering a spike and will now pay the consequences"
his speech to parliament was quite full on and controlled, it is a shame he did not elaborate on the consequences the young have/ are about to bring on themselves....
there is no doubt that when this is back in control [ that is defeated ] and life returns to pre covid no matter the . GOV in power there will be an almighty great bill to be paid... Far far bigger than the one the last labour government left us. And a much smaller economy to deal with it!
At the start of covid I was slow to react, managed to convert some savings [ shares to bullion ] gold soared but shares had dropped by up to 30% and gold had risen 20% … money in the next 10-15 years could lose a lot of its value [ inflationary effect ] I currently have 3.35kg silver and about 10oz of gold plus a few coins

The wife does a bit of shopping locally … a co -op [ where "reduced [ dated ] prices tend to be 10% more than a standard supermarket!] came home Monday and said I cant believe it NO toilet rolls in Stockwood, nearly all the pasta/spaghetti gone no this that and the other …. ! we have plenty pasta about 6 litres of it.. and about 4 litres of spaghetti … that is the volumne capacity of the storage jars!
I shop monthly [Twice monthly for fresh stuff...veg and dairy ] due on the 16th but will go next couple of days … need some lettuce cucumber and tomato's as my homegrown has just run out .. and about 4 litres of yoghurt and weekend desserts ….

how often will .gov get a vote with just 38 against and over 500 for it!
in 17 minutes we are in lockdown with just one "escape route" other than work or necessary services.. outdoor exercise.. with 1 other person!
WORST THING however is it will not be temps of 24c with blue skies ! My new project a photgraphic "a year in the life of my open space" will transgress into WINTER now in a quickly vanishing Autumn … biggest disappointment lack of colours! lets have a month of snow in November!!!!! or the next lockdown in Feb 2021!

I'm sure some Medical Scientific adviser will dig up some doomsday figures from somewhere (lets try 6000 deaths a day!) for Starmer & Co to pounce all over, we could plough the country into a bit more debt.. They love a debt do Labour!!

missed Pmq's ...apparently a big slap down today!
I need a vaccine for aches … been out doing a "gentle walk and photographing wild life" but toward the end Jo Wiley is helping me to run 5k … trouble is my route is not flat and I am carrying a 5kg Rucksack beside wearing wellies which are nearly 2kg each!
