Local lad or not, he is bang average. Mistake after mistake. Surely won’t last another season as Everton’s number 1.

Was extremely good at the World Cup, and Southgate has been very loyal to him since.

Personally I like him still, brave keeper with a bit of arrogance about him (the good sort)

I hope he regains his top form and proves a few doubters wrong.

I feel like he's almost too passionate/let's his emotions get the better of him. Needs to chill a bit. It's making him erratic. If he calmed down a bit, he'd be more composed.

That was also the reason for Joe Hart's downfall. I was a bit of a keeper in my youth and form does come and go but generally as soon as you start overthinking it mistakes happen. That's when you try revving yourself up to try and snap out of it and more mistakes happen as things like simple crosses become a massive test that you have to pass whereas previously you would have come and caught it without really thinking about it because you knew you were going to.

He needs to get back in to the zone where he knows he's going to save everything which is a lot easier said than done!!!

He’s waiting for us to get back up to the premier so he can sign for us at a low Fee then show the world he is the best keeper in the country

Yeah I was thinking watching the Everton game that he might get better with age when he matures and calms down. The ability is there no doubt in my mind but he's trying a bit too hard.

He’s so good on his day, he was superb against Spurs on the opening day.

He just seems to have focus and attention issues, great comparison with Joe Hart above, Hart went so downhill with similar things that we all forgot how fantastic he was at one point.

Hopefully gets back on track, but his England place, for now at least, should go to Pope or Henderson.

Notice everyone banging on about mistake after mistake, yet didn't mention his world class save after save against Spurs the other week.

Thats the problem with being a goalkeeper. An outside player makes a mistake, they more often than not get away with it. A goalkeeper error stands out like a sore thumb!

There isn't a goalkeeper around that doesn't make howlers now and again. You never hear about the saves they make.

Rumour has it from a source who is a good friend of Pickford and this friend is also a friend of a member of my family. Although this may or may not be common knowledge but he likes to party and does not worry too much about his future. (couldn't give a **** attitude ie doesn't follow a strict diet and goes on the piss whenever he can) Hope this isn't true because it would be a shame, as it will only shorten his career even though he is a goalkeeper.
