    Even our most upbeat supporter failed in his matchday thread attempt. Desperate times call for desperate measures so I'm making a cameo appearance to start a game-winning match thread.

    Turf Moor. Horrible place in a horrible town (I'm allowed to say that as I lived there for a year). It really is grim up Turf Moor.

    Last year we were stuffed 3-0.

    This year we'll return the favour and I'll end up doing 36 threads on the bounce.

    Let the prematch meltdown begin.
