I'm really worried, and the ONLY way we can be positive is to change our manager now,and give the new boss as long as possible to turn things round.Bruce is no longer the man for the job.
I agree mate. A few good individual performances, the problem is under Bruce we never get good team performances. Only two spring to mind, the Chelsea win and holding Utd when Fergie praised our resilience. I stand by what I have said before, those performances were in spite of Bruce not because of him.
Tell me. What manager could pick this squad up? Can it get us to 10th again? Who could. I have no answers, only big, big questions. Sorry x
I agree with the OP And no way Bruce will be sacked until December. I do agree though Villa could be the beginning if the end for him. To be fair I expect we will get something at Arsenal because the pressure is off were expected to lose.
Did not see to many puting their hands up there Bobby! Anyone who says they are not must be in love with Bruce! Not Bruce for sure, so thats a start..................even if that's the only reason to get rid of him then it is enough for me!
well i was listening to radio newcastle on the way back from the match and bruce was again telling the fans to be patient as the way we came back today shows how good a team we have and that we are over reacting and that he will never quit basically!!! Probably cos he doesnt want to miss out on his payoff. The legends went onto say that some times reporter had tweeted that he saw quinn and bruce hugging and congratulating each other in the tunnel and he reckons that there is no chance quinn is going to sack him anytime soon.
I got to say I am very worried too, The only good thing is there are probably 3 worse teams than us. I'm now off the fence and in BOB territory, the Norwich game was the final straw for me, I really expected something here.
- lostinvegas. I agree with both these points. I think Quinn is so dedicated to keeping Bruce, that he'll allow Bruce to drag him down with him. I don't know what Niall is thinking about. Three home wins since January 1st, for Christ's sake - and he "congratulates" him for another home draw! I can see that this is coming down to Ellis, and when he loses his patience, it'll probably be Bruce and Quinn to get the boot. I don't like the idea, but I can see it happening.
Absolutely disgusted today to see people leaving the stadium after five minutes!! Indicative of modern day fans, totally fickle!! We have seen much worse than this over the thirty odd years that i have been going to games. We were once known for our loyallty and support come what may, now we're just like all the others. Embarassing!!
Paddock Man How long do you eat s***e for? All your life? 40 years like me? Its gotta stop. OR (worse, I think), you deliberately - DELIBERATELY - lose your 40/ 50 year supporters. x
Bobby, i just think that all the negativity gets to the players. Once the fans got behind the team today you could see the confidence coming back.
Fans were well behind the team til 0-2 They fought back without the fans....Plus without a decent manager. x
They lost the fans for a while after the second goal but once the fans got behind them they actually did'nt play too badly. Lets get behind the team AND the manager and see where it takes us!!
Straws and last ones grasping for comes to mind here? Our form for the last 9 months is awful. This season in isolation its even worse. We are averaging less than a point a game and at this rate, we will be relegated at a hat canter.
