Been watching a programme about Senegal and there was a spicy beef stew thickened with peanuts, might give that a go sometime.
I’m off out for a Senegalese.....now there’s a phrase you don’t hear often. Beef and peanuts, it’ll never catch on.
Peanuts are used a lot in cooking here and give a really nice flavour to meats and salads. Generally made into a paste or sauce.
Goat satay (sate kambing) is served with peanut sauce. They do beef sate (sate padang) as well but sauce is made with rice floor and cow guts.
nah, if you have ever had a Richmond sausage or fray bentos pie here then you should be able to eat anything. Except Andouillette, horrible stuff.
Been reading up, going to make beef Maafe. Says you can use peanut butter but I think the roast and ground peanuts will taste much better so going to do that this weekend.
Thought this one looked the best but some I've seen are using scotch bonnet which I'm going to use other than cayenne.
