The problem is the other option is Sean longstaff who's just as slow without the ability to pass

 

No the other option is play Hendrick in position, put our most talented attacking player in the CAM position he was hired for and play Fraser on the right dropping Carroll.

3 players in midfield with pace who can hold a ball and tackle, and pass.

Problem solved in a 10 second post.

How we a club with like 15 well paid coaches, potentially paid more than most on this entire website can't see such a simple tactical change that will improve everything is baffling to me.

personally I don’t think there is a better sight in football than a team making a swift break, players got the burners on, a few passes, boom boom...you’re in on goal.

Yes but my powers were useless when it came to my own worthless club. The only ****ing time it failed was when I said Brighton would score loads and beat the toon

 

We played some of the best football I've seen from us over the last couple of season's yesterday ... full of pace and purpose and intricate passing. We will cause quite a few headaches for the bigger teams at this rate... where we can finish, who knows? ... but the building blocks are there for another good season.
