Villa???? Yeah, I know some other teams will benefit. I’m happy that Villa have had extra time and the ability to spend loads of money, makes their possible relegation even better. Though there is a lot of competition for the drop this year. Leeds may be the pundits’ darlings (and I love Bielsa, he’s genuinely loco) but if they keep conceding like the first two games, goodnight. West Brom and Fulham must be high on the at risk list as well. Hopefully Everton and Leicester have good seasons and keep Spurs and Utd out of the top six. Sadly I think Chelsea will be quite good.
But if Villa were due to play City for instance, then Villa would benefit from City starting later. Hard to see a way around it.
Yeah, I get it, just a shame that Villa and ****ing Sean Dick’s Burnley get to benefit, while Wolves who played 4 days before Citeh in their last European games, get no leeway at all.
Arsenal have an unfair advantage playing in an empty stadium. The Emirates has much more atmosphere than when it’s full of sleepy Gooners.
Son 4 goals getting Jose out of jail at Southampton. This ridiculous rule of assistants leaving their flags down is farcical.
I wouldn’t have predicted any of today’s PL scores before kick off. I wasn’t that impressed with Liverpool’s defence last weekend, but clearly Klopp has been working on it. Just realised that I detest all the teams I can think of which play in ‘claret and blue’. Are there any apart from the PL ones? Come on you Foxes. Ha, Fat Frank ****ed.
Not too bothered about West Ham. Quite a few family members are fans. Definitely want Palace to do well this season. ****ing hate Burnley!
Who put the **** in Scunthorpe? ©️John Cooper Clarke I’ll add them to the list, blameless as they are. ****ing Burnley score.
To be honest there are teams, even in London, I dislike more than West Ham. But they don’t make the neutral list.
Not sure why the dislike of Burnley? Dyche has done a brilliant job, if only we could have done the same thing.... Have to defend them as my golfing mate supports them....
Dyche (pronounced Dick) is a self pitying creep in the Sam Allardyce/ Tony Pulis mode. I’ve had years of hearing him moan about how unfairly he and his team, which he would walk away from in a heartbeat if a bigger club came in for him, are treated. His team, as tonight’s game is confirming, play **** football. Just my opinion. This game is nothing without pet hates.
This was obviously a bit more of a handful than the Loftus Road Squirrel but he seems a bit more mobile than Cameron or Wallace, sign him up...
Not a game but today's final stage of the Tour de France......... My Brother-in-Law's Cousin (Sam Bennett) only went and won the stage on the Champs Elysees and with it, the Green jersey for best sprinter. His First time in the Tour and he won 2 stages and ended up with the Green jersey. He is from Carrick on Suir which is on the Waterford/Tipperary border, not too far from Tramore. Sean Kelly was also from the same small town and he won the Green jersey 4 times back in the 80's. Delighted.
