We still love old Brucie the fat dinner lady in Hull for what he achieved with us. He’s admittedly very limited tactically though. One thing I never got is why you lot loved Benitez so much? Was it because he was willing to go against the owner publicly? From what I saw of you, (which is admittedly little) he played turgid defensive football. Just always seemed he was great at his own PR

OK a few things here:

- Our midfield is non existant.
- Carroll does nothing.
- Shelvey can't be arsed and either fouls everyone in sight or boots the ball into the middle of nowhere.
- Wilson has no service.
- Lamptey is getting the freedom of St James's.
- Almirion needs to replace Carroll.. .****, even Joelinton would be better.
- Lewis has a stupid haircut.

 

If we are to progress fixtures like Brighton & Hove Albion at HOME are games we have to be winning, for me it’s these fixtures what define us. I wouldn’t of even been happy with a draw today nevermind this shower of ****. No progression at all, funny how our starting 11 is better than theirs yet they play much better football. It’s all down to the manager this.

 

Brighton are definitely a top half team this year. We are down there with the relegation fodder I fear.

Got it nailed on. He played politics, lost vs owner but won with fans. That was it. The football was ****ing awful, save the last 6 matches or so.

Bruce, however, has us back in the ****ing 90's right down to square pegs in round holes. Hendrick isn't a wide player, never has been, and the likes of Carroll and Shelvey simply shouldnt be the ones you're building teams/tactics around. 4-4-2 is dead. So'ton got spanked by Sputs playing it. It just makes no ****ing sense as a tactic anymore. Yet here we are, and we'll start the second half with the same ****ing players in the same ****ing tactic.

Bruce is making a managerial decision quite easy if we do get new owners.

 

I’d honestly forgot Hayden was playing. Has he been mentioned at any time in the first half? Genuine question to all Hayden’s fans.

 

Bruce is a great manager to get promotion from the champ and a decent manager to fight relegation from the prem but I agree if you want any type of progression he’s not gonna be the man for you. Does he still have the same infuriating habit of taking all attacking players off if you’re a goal up with half an hour to go, to go on to predictably draw or lose the game?
