Are you sure about using HDMI to link to tv? It hasn’t worked for me with i-follow, but did work for the Carabau Cup stream.
Eventually worked for me on Saturday, i did try to get it direct on the tv but no joy though was trying on more than 1 device at the time.
Maybe iFollow utilises HDCP to prevent connecting to a TV via HDMI. It did say at half-time that it isn't to be used in commercial places like pubs.
I wanted the Gillingham match on ifollow on my laptop and used an HDMI lead to take it to my television. No problems at all. The picture and sound were really good and in synch. I don't know if it applies this season but you couldn't get it directly on a smart television last season, although you could probably have done it with the HDMI cable. I do get fed up when my friend in South Africa can tell me what is happening before I see it though. He seems to get the stream about 20 seconds ahead of me.
I plug my laptop into a tv and watch without any problem The only issue was that the commentary was 1 second up on the video in the first half. I ****ing hate Just Eat, I mean iFollow. It’s poor mans telly really. The production team must consist of one bloke with a secondhand spanner. The left open mikes are great thought. I couldn’t quite make out all that was being said but I am sure I heard Burnsy complaint about having **** all to do. Perhaps it was just my imagination!
Hopefully a better quality stream tonight last weeks wasn't too bad on Carabao as I am not impressed with Ifollow Because currently 2 games a week at £80 a month for barely SD quality picture isn't good enough in 2020.
I'm off out tonight, but wondering if I start the official stream, then pause it about 15 mins before kick off, when I get back in 2 hours later will I be able to restart it from the point it paused. The iFollow stream doesn't (I think) allow you to go backwards and forwards when live, but I think I remember from the Leeds game that the Carabao one does.
Yeah I always check that , they managed to send me a game preview email last week but no code this week
Finally got a reply from the club , apparently they are having trouble with karoo emails not sure if it's bullshit but kinda funny considering KC have an internet monopoly in Hull and the company are still name sponsors of the stadium
