I thought he'd change tactics today and play all 3 behind Wilson, however I think he's planning on selling almiron and going 4 4 2 all season

I might not be the case, but it looks to me like it might be.. Bring Fraser in for free and cash in on almiron

 

BTW Almiron has a buying clause and was attracting interest from athletico, so it might be something they can't stop

 

He might think Carroll pushing around the Brighton defence will create opportunities, but my problem is this-

All our pace will now be so obviously coming from Max, which means their entire defence will coverge on our left.

We're gonna have to push Manq up further and make sure he plays with Hendrick who has some good feet, we will score if we exploit their right.

 

Carroll might struggle to do that vs Brighton cbs.. Dunk might handle him..

I don't see us having the ball much... Fingers crossed could be a big win

 

I'll bet my mortgage that Miggy will not be sold. Bruce is old school, he picked the team last week to match west ham physically. Carroll did well and deserves his chance again today. Miggy played in mid week and no doubt will be involved today after 60 mins or so. Tbh we wouldn't get much more than we paid for him so why would we sell. His numbers have not been out of this world for a team to pay big money.

 

You do realise he has a clause? You might be right, but it if athletico do want him and meet the release clause what Bruce or anyone thinks is irrelevant

 

Didn't know that mate. Do you know how much it is? We paid 21 million for him so ud imagine the clause is 30mil minimum.
