Almost bought one as my first car a few moons ago. The only thing going for it was the price. Everything else was against it, bodywork, engine, mileage the lot.

Eventually bought a Morris Marina Coupe. Loved that car. :emoticon-0152-heart<wah>

£1700 for a Vauxhall Combo van. It ended up with 160,000 on the clock, a great starter but I knew it was time to get rid when the breaks failed (doing 10mph at the time thank god).

Mine was a Covid 1.9, it was Chinese made, coughed and spluttered but got around the place quite quickly. It certainly wasn't for the faint hearted, I believe there's still quite a few around the North East.

Back to lockdown, we've cancelled our trip to Krakow for next weekend. We are lucky that we can move the flights to next year but we've had to take a hit on the AirBnB booking of £100.
