West ham turn up against Arsenal Chelsea and spurs and occasionally againt united. If they put that effort in every week they'd comfortably be a top 10 team.I'll have that. We were nowhere near our best and still bagged the 3 pts.

He took some stick for the football he produced, but in fairness as over the years the quality in the squad increased he started playing a more expansive game. His last season with us we played some really good football.
What he achieved with us given our budget back then was remarkable tbh. His net spend on player trading was £11m in 11 years ffs
