Apart from the medical, were they negotiating over personal terms? This is potentially where the talks might fail if Bale's ego is on another planet.

 

I'd expect them to post the news in the next couple of hours.
They've probably worked out the best time to do it and how to stagger or combine the announcement of the signings.

Personal terms were done on Wednesday evening and then the medical was Thursday in Madrid and yesterday was the players travelling to London. Hopefully today is when they’re both announced

If we could sell Aurier and bring him in, then I'd be very pleased.
The bids all seem to have been speculative and dependent on loans, so we'd still have an opportunity to get in there.

 

So it's probably marketing that is causing a slight delay!

 

He was my first choice right back this summer as he fits the Enic profile, get a few good years out of him and then sell him for huge money if he wants to move on.
