2 there for Hollie Doyle of which I really like EXTRA ELUSIVE but the one I really do fancy of which she rides is THE CITY'S PHANTOM. She could well get at least a 3 timer.

I have had a look at the Ayr Silver and Gold Cups, and it is the latter that interests me. In it we seem to have a pace angle which is likely to see those drawn high to better advantage. In the race the obvious pace setters are Bungee Jump (24) and Air Raid (14) with other pace angles looking to be Major Jumbo (16), Bielsa (22) and Staxton (15) with only Kynren (7) and Hey Jonesy (7) drawn in single figure stalls which have any major front running tendancies.

As such I think those drawn high will get a better tow into the race, and I have backed three against the field with 7 places on offer. The three are -

Arecibo - Good run in the Portland and with more favourable draw he can run well again. 14/1

Gulliver - Regular in these races and another who has run well enough on occasions to be involved in this. 18/1

Cold Stare - a bit of a flyer this one who steps back to sprinting. However with a fast run race it could fall apart for this hold up horse. His win last time was taking and whilst not favourably treated under the penalty, he shouldn't be as big as he is in the market. 40/1

All each way. If the race does go to the draw, then I am optimistic!

    Morning

Mark Johnston only has one that I can see on the Ayr card today, so I'll take that as a tip in itself and be on Perfect Times 16/1 in the 3.05

Stay safe folks, troubling times ahead.

My one concern would be the draw, drawn in 2. I think there is a bias in being drawn high.

Tgat 2yold race at Newbury is probably the only one worth looking at imo

Like Wise Words 13/2 in the sprint, looks the type who could put it all together and come into her own this season for Tate who is a good trainer of sprinters.

In the Mill Reef I fancy Rhythm Master 11/4, very impressive debut and ran well behind Campanelle in the Morny, the other two look to have plenty of potential but they are stepping up big time against this horse today and id make him a clear favourite.
