I think we all need a bit of No7 positivity.

Actually they got themselves fit during lockdown. Each had their own schedule to follow but they were unsupervised. They did good.

They needed a good break after the United game and got it. But they still had schedules to stick too . Again unsupervised. They did not do so good. The blame must rest with the players.

Circumstances prevented a normal preseason and Ralph immediately lost half the squad on international duty. I feel his pain.

More importantly, I trust him to put it right.

OK No.7.....The positives from last night:

No bad injuries. Flat foot is curable. Fitness levels will rise. Armstrong will be back soon. People wet their pants far to easily, but it's their pants so let them enjoy the feeling. Tottenham are really not going to buy Danny Ings. Ralph will sort things out, and we were only pretending to play like headless chickens to fool the Spuds.

Be happy, we are all still alive and living the Saint supporters dream, cos this is how it really is. Who the **** wants to be a serial winner?

Yeah, cos winning’s for losers, right? Hang on. No, for suckers. Or whatever Trump said.

Anyway, point is we support Southampton because somebody has to. It’s our lot in life. It’s ****, but there you go. I’ve got a friend who supports Macclesfield Town. He’d kill to have our problems. There’s always someone etc.

I saw my Dad (Green Army) today, and he says "Saints lost yesterday didn't they?"

Yeah says I, not the end of the world though, only the Carabao cup, focus on the league and FA Cup now bullshit bullshit etc

He says "Ah well, Plymouth lost too" as though it would make it somehow better <laugh>

I turned to my Burnley supporting Mum and gave her a Paddington stare until she stopped giggling.

I hope, for your sake, he's not that curmudgeonly old ex-matelot "Sensible" off the Plymouth board!

I feel your pain to a degree, but surrounded by Liverpool fans in and out of my ‘bubble’ my sympathy is limited!

Who ever started this thread either forgot the question mark or got the first two words of the title the wrong way round.

If we can't get the thread's title right how on earth can we expect to win the game FFS?

Not to mention Chilcs saying a few weeks back that we’ll bring in some Fats Magic when Tom’s run came to an end.

@Billy the Priest was premature again!! <eek><eek>

Has Billy the Imam been told what blue text
means as I wouldn't want him to take offence?
