I'm surprised. I thought McLean was good on Saturday. Not stellar, but it confirmed to me that he is better further forward (i.e. centre-mid rather than defensive). He linked up really well with Skipp.
And here I thought it was my in depth tactical analyses that he was reading in his morning briefs everyday.
Norwich and Middlesbrough are among nine EFL clubs who will be allowed to admit up to 1,000 spectators at games this weekend. The move comes as part of the ongoing 'return of fans' pilot programme, with the organisation still in discussions with the government about a return for supporters in greater numbers after October 1. From the Championship, Norwich's home clash with Preston and Middlesbrough's match versus Bournemouth will all see fans allowed into the ground. How will they allocate in just 2 days?
Going to be interesting to see if Buendia comes straight back in to the side. Farke doesn't normally change a winning side, but equally, he knows what Buendia can bring to the side, and that it's important to keep him happy.
Last Saturday was the first time we won without Buendia's involvement since we signed him. Extraordinary stat

Allowing 1,000 fans in actually costs the club money. Bristol Rogers rejected the chance to be one of the test cases for that very reason.
Duncan, how about actually reading my post before firing off? Where does it say that I think Sørensen "is better than McLean"? It doesn't. What it says is that, on top of the improvement Skipp brings over Tettey, we would be further improved by having a better player than McLean in that CM position. FYI, I never bother with YouTube clips; I prefer to read the opinions of people whose job it is to know about players. I've read nothing which suggests Sørensen, "a brilliant player" (see Connor Southwell's interview with Emil Kirchner), is anything other than a perfect fit for that CM role. Is he going to prove to be the "better player" who'll improve us in that position? Time will tell. Personally, as I said, I'm looking forward to seeing him do exactly that. And if he doesn't, we need someone else who will.
Byram out for the rest of 2020. I'd think that makes the suggestion of McCallum leaving on loan seem more odd. Would leave Quintilla and Aarons as our only senior full-backs for several months, unless Mumba is really rated by Farke. Stiepermann unavailable (back) Josh Martin available Emi has been in team training since Tuesday - might point to a role from the bench? Hanley back in full training next week.
Just created my ifollow account to watch the match tomorrow. You still have to enter credit card details, even with a free pass code. That seemed a bit strange? Lets hope I don't get charged.
I thought the NE of England was an area where new Covid 19 case are on the increase in big numbers? So surprised that Middlesborough is one of the clubs involved in allowing a restricted number of fans into the ground.
Have I missed the passing of Reading from the MDT survey? Getting older by the day!! Fantastic opening post by the way, getting back to the highs set in 2018.
City have confirmed there will be a minute's silence in memory of Gordon Bennett, our former chief exec. who died earlier this week
