What's worrying is Brentford made 6 changes, as well as losing their star striker, and they're running rings around our best XI?
Looking for positives, at least non of us have wasted time and money to go and watch this complete shambles
Ironically this is why I love football. It's a strange ol' game. This is basically the same side that went 7 games unbeaten post lockdown. This is the same Brentford side that just missed out on promotion - minus their two best attacking players. So how the hell did we go 2-0 down? Basically by committing too far up the pitch and giving them free run at the back. Defending right through the team has been non existent. Bertrand gave Nørgaard a free run for the first goal and I lost count of how many people could and should have stopped the play leading up to the second. Any other day, Danny would have buried his chance and Che would have found the corner. I'm actually enjoying the game! We will come good eventually (probably against spurs on Sunday) but why oh why do we start seasons so badly?
Just got in from a pleasant walk to ....... this! Well looks like time to watch some golf instead. Looks like Ralph is going to earn his pay tonight, what the heck has happened since the end of ' last season's?
Not that bad, just I have **** to do that I was going to put off. So rather than get up in the morning and do it I may as well miss a crap game and do it now
