That takes me back. I remember standing in the local chippy in the queue with the now Mrs Fats, trying to work out what Pey Wet was!! Kids kept ordering it. As for the rest, it’s all true Baby’shed n all and when I first moved up there I had just finished playing football and more like Trimletiss.... 5 years later.....
Bugger Brexit, politics, Covid and anything wrong with the world! I've hit an absolute disaster today!! Just opened my last but one jar of my homemade marmalade ............ only one small jar left after this No chance of Seville oranges now till January and that's hoping they won't be rotting in the back of a lorry somewhere in Kent .........

My youngest girl got her first full-time job today - managed to get an apprenticeship with a company that does ballistics testing. There's also some public shooting ranges and a gun shop...seems funny considering she left school last year and went to college to study hair and Media make-up Really proud of her, as there's not many good or interesting opportunities for 17 year old's around here.
Good for her! My lad has just finished year 1 of his apprenticeship and is loving it. He is studying too (work paying) and despite our initial concern that he didn’t want to go to Uni, he has definitely found his thing. My daughter moved to London this week to start dance/performance college. Proud of her too. Fearless.
I know Henry VIII had 6 wives - There was Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, Catherine Parr but I can't for the life of me remember the surname of the one called Jane....See More
Ships made from salt, an art that gets passed down to the next generation. These 2 guys are the only ones left, in Torrevieja, sadly. The framework is cotton and involves being immersed in the salt lake, at the right time, for a few days, before being sun dried.
