It’s clear to everyone that the big clubs generally rest and rotate their teams in the early stages of league and fa cup and it’s only when get to quarters / semis that they generally play stronger teams. Because the top 6 have bigger better squads it’s ok real surprise that they get further. how many times have we seen mid table or relegation zone prem clubs rest players because they know prem survival is more important.
