Been a leeds lad and working for them part time, I have a soft spot. I'm glad they went up to be honest as then I dint have the hassle with my friends being in the same division.

Arsenal certainly have a broad range in player ages.
The 86 year old must be one hell of a player.

Come on Everton. I am a big fan of Ancelotti and love seeing Spurs lose.

I can't quite believe how poor spurs are under Jose.
Everton have made some good signings and look really good.

Ancelotti improves players as well as choosing good ones. Richarlison and Calvert Lewis had lost their way entirely and they are now at their best. I like the way he has said that Europe is the target, none of this ‘safety first’ bollocks. With the spending they have done, plus the outlay on Ancelotti himself, they have to aim high.

I used to like Mourinho, in a disruptive kind of way, and his record is outstanding. But he’s had his time it seems.

I really like Ancelotti, plus he looks like a mafia boss!
Jose has a great record, but looks like a dinosaur now.
I can see Spurs finishing outside the top 8, let alone 6.

I’ve droned on about having an ST for the great AC Milan team of the late 80s/ early 90s before, but Ancelotti was a lynchpin of that team, surrounded by superstars like Gullit, Van Basten, Maldini, but making it tick, very like his persona as a manager - no fuss, get on with it, wry sense of humour. Very handy when he wanted to be too, check out the first goal in this, the greatest team performance I’ve ever been present at (narrowly beating QPR 2 Liverpool 0 1975).

You must be petrified at the thought of Milan having to play the fantastic Shamrock Rovers in the Europa League this week? :emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl

****ting it Fingy. Milan are less than a shadow of their former glory, upset easily possible. Real shame that the Rovers can’t take any fans to the San Siro. I need to get there soon, it’s being demolished in a couple of years and a new version built next to it. Not a beautiful stadium but with 80,000 fans in it [very rare these days, sadly] and with the second tier literally bouncing up and down, plus everyone involuntarily stoned from the amount of dope wafting around, an experience not to be forgotten.

    **** I miss live footy.

I didn't see what happened but delighted Neymar was sent off.

Awful excuse of a football player and such a cheat and a diver. There are very few footballers I dislike but he is definetly one.

Not sure if Neymar got sent off for anything other than being a total knobhead.
He doesn’t have to say much, he just got the look.

If l was reffing his match, l’d visit the dressing room before the game and present him with a Lifetime Achievement Award for being a career dickhead.

After a busy weekend, just had a chance to sit and watch MOTD 2...they do like to pile the praise on Leeds don't they. They played well, but lost...and the commentators and analysis couldn't stop singing their praises.

    Seems I should have jumped on line 9 to the Parc des Princes to watch this mess;

Anyone see Tony Leistner climbing into the crowd, grabbing a fan for Hamburg?

I see Ingram didn't save many penalties for Hull last night in the Carabao shoot out v Leeds, but the one save he did make was crucial as Hull went through 9-8
