Gun culture is the big reason we have **** like this. I've seen videos of white people being gunned down too. One in a motel sticks out in my mind a lot. Trigger happy, uneducated/poorly trained officers are the issue here. Some training programmes last weeks rather than years over there
Plenty of innocent kids die of gun shots. My point is that, racist or not, this situation wouldn't be the situation it is if guns weren't so ridiculously part of their life.
Firstly I agree with your point of if guns were not so ridiculously easy to get hold of due to a constitution that was written nearly 250 years ago where this sort of situation was not and could never have been envisaged then maybe things would be different. One thing I’ve noticed over here recently though is the way the media and specifically Channel 7 portray incidents involving police shootings/deaths in custody depending on the skin colour. It seems to me that when a person of colour dies then whoever they speak to are “demanding answers/demanding justice”. Yet a white man dies and it’s “a man died today after being shot by police”. Case in point was a report today of a man being shot and killed somewhere in Queensland. No one demanding anything. Yet some American sports team who refused to take the field in solidarity with the black guy in Wisconsin are doing so because they are demanding justice.
It's not a great time to be a white straight male. Everyone wants to have a ****ing go. Sad that 99% of white straight males will have to battle through their life to be nothing more than ordinary.
I’ll agree with you there as well. I’d hope that I’m not racist, yet I will be typical of someone who socialises within my own ethnic and economic demographic. I genuinely do treat people with respect no matter what their skin colour. If you’re nice to me then I’m nice back and I would expect the same in return. But it’s not always the case as we know. And I’ve met plenty of rude and obnoxious people of every skin colour.
Yep, you treat people well and you get respect back I found. Working around the West Midlands it was shocking the stuff my asian and black staff had to put up with. They let a lot of the racist behaviour go and accepted it as part of every day life.
I don't believe anyone is rightfully shot dead. Guns for people are for cowards and that is a nation full of them. I respect a hunter/hobbyist so long as it's not trophy hunting and military use providing the politics involved is ethical. I even support our armed response. But a nation of people free to have these deadly weapons regardless of their personal values and the danger they could represent is just wrong in my ethics. The value of a good old fashioned kicking is becoming lost in this gun and blade culture
Hits close to home occasionally. For all those do gooders/ be offended on others behalfs, the photo below is outside my sons apartment in Cleveland. His car is the black one and is normally parked where the other on is. This occurred as a result of a drive by shooting where 4 black men (i think i can still say that) unloaded approximately 100 rounds into a car 2 spaces to the right targetting another black man. No whites involved other than to describe the incident to police and assist in identifying the vehicle. This was Saturday night and my sons balcony is the one with the lights on it. Thankfully he's ok but the BLM ****wits can **** off as far as i'm concerned. please log in to view this image

It like half the population and half the police don't have the mentally to hold such power and responsibility in their hands. It doesn't take a minute to load a single bullet anymore. I feel that until they re-amend that amendment it's on a path to ruin.
Not saying people shouldn't have guns. Canada have 5 guns to 1 person. Just saying they're not appropriate for everyone to own.
