That looks like a complete write off. Not much to salvage from strolls car. Looks like Perez will be waiting a bit longer for new parts as stroll will get next set!

All depends on Kimi making 5 seconds up. Any ideas why he doesn't have to serve within 2 laps?

no chance now sadly, Kimi has got pace on the Ferrari, shocking considering it's their own track.

All gravel and no run off areas is what all tracks should be like but then we probably have about half the field struggling if that happeded.

Sponsors are not going to be happy but imagine negative publicity if sponsors complain!!!! Not sure political promotion should be quite so prominent in sport. I realise it gives a great platform but I watch as I enjoy the sport. It's a tricky balance.

It was same t shirt he used at the kneel bit at beginning.
Had a womans face on with 'say her name' on back and 'Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor' on the front.

Is there a way to get Bottas out of that Mercedes seat. He just doesn't have the balls to challenge when he has the slight chance. He is just pathetic. There are so many young talents that deserve some of the spots deadwood like him are taking up.

I think Mercedes learnt from Rosberg and don't want 2 equal drivers in their cars, they've engineered a lead and second driver on purpose. From their point of view they are going to finsih 1st and 2nd in the championship anyway, why give themself extra stress?

Obviously from our point of view it's rubbish, there is nothing exciting going on at the front week after week, and we already know the winner for this year and next year.

It just doesn’t sit comfortably with me that he was able to wear it on the podium , but maybe that’s just me . This does not make me a ravished before anyone decides to jump down my throat !!!

Thought I'd post this link - this guy is an Italian motorbike racer and does some good analysis videos.

In this one he compares on-board footage from F1 and MotoGP at Mugello. If you can get past his enthusiasm, he does some interesting analysis of why an F1 driver's lines are so different from a MotoGP rider's lines.

And some things are spectacular e.g. the difference in braking distances, and the car going flat through the chicane whereas the bike can't (and the staggering amount of time the bike loses in comparison).
