Haven’t written Dobson off but find it difficult to see at present time how he justifies his place at the expense of Scowen who contributes more and seems to work better alongside Max Power , moreover I would rather see Leadbitter in the side rather than Dobson though time is on his side and hopefully he develops to become a more proficient player .

Pleased Dobson got a straight red as stupid as it sounds, forces him to make a change. Hopefully it makes him think about changing Flanagan too.

I like Scowen and have said this on numerous occasions - he's a class above this division. He should always be well ahead of Dobson.

However, I don't think Dobson is anywhere near as bad as people make out. Ineffective today, but was looking decent at the end of last season and there's enough about him for me to think he could make a good L1 player.

I also didn't think Power was too bad today either, but the caveat there is that I only watched the second half.

Dobson is ok but Scowen has a better all round game and is good with the dead ball.

I've always been relatively chilled about Parky.

But I snapped on seeing that team sheet today.

**** him, if he wants to get himself sacked so be it. I hope he's gone soon the utter plank.

    Edit - Scowen !

I'd certainly like to see Scowen given a go I don't think any of us know a lot about him at this point but he seems to have more about him in attack and god knows we need that.

Don't agree about Leadbitter his legs have gone and I don't think he contributes enough to make up for it, we might be more appreciative of Dobson against a big side because he won't be bullied and wins headers.

Give Scowen a few games and hopefully Dobson will come back better when he gets the chance.

to be fair to leadbitter, he has looked sharper in pre-season and played some lovely through balls...would he get as much time in a league game i have no clue but there was one point in play where he took off like a whippet after a rabbit and won a race to the ball where he did not look favourite...if parky has no faith in scowen i would prefer leadbitter in there to dobson at present.

If we're playing three at the back, one of the centre mids has to be a bit attack minded and I don't think Power and Dobson are. Playing them together is just too defensive and cautious a set up so would rather see Scowen in as he looked to have that drive about him. Cracking set piece delivery an all.

Without question, it has to be Scowen, because he brings far more to the team than Dobson.

Dobson should be backup for Power in my view.

****ing hell, just watched this back again. Does he even touch the lad? Pathetic refereeing, at the time I thought it could be construed as dangerous, but now I've had a drink I'm even more convinced the referee was a ****.

He is literally pathetic. We will never get out of this league with this dosser in charge. I’d sack him now if it was down to me.

If Dobson was able to make a simple 5 yard pass, he would never have ended up in that situation. No one to blame but himself and I for one am delighted that he got sent off. 3 games without having to see him steal a living is like Christmas come early.

Dobson can make a great long pass, but he cannot consistently pass it 5 yards to a team-mate. Until he learns to do that, he should be no-where near the first team. His overall game is too similar to Power's, so playing them together is just a no-no in our set-up. We're far too flat.

Overall, Parky is a useless **** and it is his crap team selection/tactics to blame for picking that line-up. Flanagan should not be starting either.

It’s a tough one to call for me, Scowen has looked the better player in pre-season so should get the nod and I’m surprised he didn’t yesterday. Saying that I thought he was pretty poor last season on the odd times we actually saw him.
