If we defend like this against City and dare I say it, united, they'll ****ing eat us alive. We've gone from one of the best defending sides in the League to one of the ****tiest since we won the title. It's garbage, but why?
Can we go back to last season where we were solid and just knew we’d score a goal to win the game 1-0.... I do wonder if the lack of crowds has put some complacency into defending, not just us but others as well. No fans to get on your back if you **** up etc. Leeds have been very good getting through our midfield and getting at the defence.
Classic "good for the neutral game". Our defence has been woeful. TAA and Gomez have been out of position so many times. TAA has had a crap first touch all game. We are playing like Keegan's Newcastle and hoping to score 1 more goal than the opposition. I think Mane would have scored if he had not been Koch blocked. Hopefully we will be better 2nd half, but I can see Fabinho coming on for Hendo on 65 minutes as Hendo can't be match fit, although Milner could come on worryingly enough!
Lucky it was offside, but surely as a right back you'd hope trent would be able to not head that into his own goal.
It shows Thats TAA’s only game so far this season has been for England. Shouldn’t have been allowed to go. Get Matip at CB and move Gomez to RB
Trents not been anywhere near his best, but hopefully a proper game under his belt and training will help. Gomez is a concern, descion making has gone to pieces. I'm his biggest fan, but he's like a jack russel at the minute, all speen and movement, no thought
