Looks like racing point have turned up with new brake ducts.... and this is awkward... they look almost identical to Mercedes 2020 ones.
Is this rear brake ducts or front? If it's rears then maybe that have realised they can't be punished for the same crime as they are already getting a caution after each race. It's going to open the cap of worms again.. but I think they will get away with it again unless FIA penalise them for bringing sport into disrepute.
Perez faster than Stroll despite not having the new barge boards that the chosen one has been given Albon handier today
If we go by the rule-book it shouldn't count as gravel traps are track limits. Looked good though, proper old school, hope we see more of it in the race.
Anyone reckon the Red Bulls can trouble the Mercs tomorrow? Think the tyre deg might be the key thing and hard to imagine a race without some sort of safety car so might luck someone in to a great opportunity
I think you are right, deg will be a big thing. Plus lack of data for the teams and inexperience of the drivers at this track. I also quite like the gravel here as the drivers push and if they get it a bit wrong they seem to be able to hold it but lose a little time which is good. Not sure track will be good for overtaking though. Hoping for a good race tomorrow not a procession behind the Mercs.
