McCann looked very uncomfortable during the press conference. First game of the season he should be excited and looking forward. If we are not in the Top 6 after 5 games he is gone and he knows it.
Is this bloke for real ? Whenever he is asked about anything pressing he has the standard reply of i dont want to talk about that or I'm not sure ! He is fkn clueless
I've listened to it, and it will probably the last one I will bother to listen to. The guy never answers the questions, so there is little point in listening to what he has to say. I thought Nigel Pearson's pressers were boring, but this guy has taken it to a new level.
Its almost like he doesn't have the answers so uses the ostrich method of shoving his head in the sand and hoping it bypasses him. He really doesn't inspire confidence.
At the start of this interview, I was thinking, “you know what, I think we can do this, we can win tomorrow,” then he carried on with the usual soundbite non committal answers &, yep, there I was, back down to Earth. I really hope we do well, I hope he proves me wrong, because I hate hoping results go the way, just to get rid of the manager, but I just don’t see it happening.
Burnys gave him a bit of a grilling though. No wonder he felt uncomfortable. Don't think there's a lot of love lost between the two of them. He has more patience then me because I'd of stood up and told Burnys to **** off then walked out.
Or he could avoid the presser altogether like previously the spineless ..... real leaders stand up when the **** happens and the pressure is on. Whilst I have no faith in Grant McCann based on his previous record at City, I cannot fathom why Ehab has let him remain in place. I assume Grant has some influence on incoming players and this transfer window is critical to the future of the club. Its no good giving McCann 10 games and then replacing him as the new manager will be then left with McCanns demoralised team and I can't see Ehab funding a load of new players for a new manager. I hope he is successful but wouldn't bet on it.
