I don't understand the whole resting him because it's Wolves? He can break his leg against any team in the league, we can't rest a player because we think they're thugs, so every time we play Stoke + Wolves should we rest our best players? We should put our strongest team out which is Ben Arfa behind Ba, Best is playing well but his link up play is poor.

You keep bringing up the QPR game but what about the Aston Villa game? We played 4-4-2 then and we dominated so that point isn't valid IMO. Same team for me.

Still too soon for ben arfa i think.. he has played well when he has come on but you can still see he still isn't fully there yet i think another 30 minutes or something this weekend and then look at him for a start against tottenham. we are not desperate for him in the team right now so we can really take our time with him.. marv should be starting before HBA, imo.

Also with it being wolves any rough tackles on him could knock his confidence on the ball and he may fade out of the match so for me hes got to stay as 2nd half sub

Disagree. No need to rush him back. 442 has worked so far why change it.

Unchanged team. The reason we were so ****e against QPR is that we were effectively playnig with 10 men as Shola was on the pitch. You can't play 442 without at least your strikers tracking back to midfield occasionally. Best and Shola were standing up front and we were swamped.

That's why Ba's so good. He puts a shift in, and I actually really rate his technique. He can hold the ball up and spread it properly. 442 and we'll be fine <ok>

no need to rush and if we did i wouldn't play him in the hole but give him a free role to do what he likes.

I would keep the team as it is, but if you did want Ben Arfa behind a striker I think that would have to be Best. Ba drops deep to help the midfield and if he did this when alone upfront, then we would have knowone upfront. Also I think Best is a great jumper and would be able to head the ball down to Ben Arfa if needed. Also I rate his hold up play quite well, he has decent strength, plays the simple ball back and then gets going again.

TBH I'f I had to play Best or Ba I'd play Ba! Ba's early form was shocking, just like our lord Tiote, but the last couple of games he's turned from a lumbering Ameobi into the player that scored goals for West Ham in the second half of last season. It's blatantly obvious that Augusts ramadan had affected his fitness (same as our lord) and in the last game alone I saw much more about his all round game than I've sen in Bests. I'm still not convinced with Besty but I'll be happy for him to prove me wrong and score a hatfull this season.

It's been mentioned that Ba drops back too much so Best would be better as the front man! But surely thats how Pardew has asked him to play along side Best? I've no doubt if Pardew asked him to stay up he will! He's as big as Best and judging by his last game is better in the air.

I'd rather it was 4-4-2 with best and BA then hba on at 60mins for best then hba in an advanced free role, allowing BA to come back for corners and hba to break while rest catch up.

Disagree best is a starter imo. He plays as a central striker, where as ba drops deep to get the ball, best is always on the last man and is much better at leading the line than ba is. Best is also a ball winner and ben arfa wouldbe able to play off best a lot better than he would off ba. Ben arfa also isn't match fit yet.

Ideally I would like to see marveaux get 45 mins, and ben arfa come on for the last 20 if we are winning and last 30 if we are losing.

Only way to get over it is to go back and get into the flow of things. And like it or not players like him will get awful tackles put on them here and the sooner he feels the first one and skips it he will be fine. Ben Arfa seems like a guy who does not give a **** and is not scared so he will just leave Henry on his arse.

    Disagree.

2 reasons. I wouldn't change a team that performed and won so well in the last game.

And also I think Wolves play 4-4-2 compared to QPR's 4-5-1.

    It's definitely worth considering though

I agree with a lot of people here, unchanged from the side that beat Blackburn. Chuck Ben Arfa, Marv and Santon on in the second half to give them a run out or earlier if we're behind by a goal or two.
