Djenepo could become a star for us this season but he has to stay fit somehow

Yep our game is on peacock - just checked.

Cant remember how much NBC Gold was but Peacock premium (with ads but all the sport) is $4.99/month

I can't see why they NBC have called it that - admittedly it has drama, movies etc on as well as sport too...but Peacock WTF.

EDIT: I apologise. Not Movies, but FILMS :)

Always makes me think of the weather man on Southern Tv from the later 80s .... Chris Peacock.

Used to make me giggle anyway :emoticon-0136-giggl

Perhaps a reference to the many eyes on a peacock’s tail.....or the owner likes peacocks.

Incidentally peacocks are so stupid they can’t even find their way home. I lived 100 yards from a woman who owned a peacock and I was forever calling her to fetch the dumb bird from my drive.

When I was young, I briefly worked for Russell & Bromley, the shoe shop in Southampton.
I can say, quite categorically, that Chris Peacock had smelly feet.

    I hope it was.

Many years later, when I was then working for Sainsbury’s, his colleague James Montgomery was in the store with his “lady friend”, Fiona Richmond/wife, she of risqué, get them out for the boys fame.
They stopped me for information and were extremely patronising. Maybe because I didn’t comment on their then celebrity status.

Oooh, this make me think when I worked in a call centre, and a customer was Philip Mycock.

And yep, he introduced himself as Phil :emoticon-0136-giggl

    True story btw.

I also talked with Hugh Grant and Liz Hurley and he asked if I was flirting with her (they were on conference with me) and I told him I'd never forgive myself if I hadn't tried.

And then a few years later, Steven Tomkinson tried to chat up my girlfriend so I told him to get to ****, he tried to hit me and I busted him in the chops. Was at a staff forum and he was off his tits on rum n coke :emoticon-0105-wink: if you know what I mean.

Their old logo was a peacock’s tail. It doesn’t really look like it to me anymore. Seems they could have come up with something better although Disney + isn’t creative either.
