Have I missed a trick, or has there been no mention of the transition from Tigers TV to iFollow as promised?
Cheers, and did I dream it or didn't they say whilst we're not allowed in the stadium, members will get it free?
and as if by magic https://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/2020/september/streaming-update-ifollow-tigers/
Of course I hoped it would be easy to transfer a subscription from Tigers TV to this new thing, but oh, no - at least not for me. Gone through the process of registering anew, fill in all my details, click Create Account and get a something went wrong message - try again. I have done 3 times. I feel Ehab Allam is trying to find another trick to stop me supporting my football club. Any one else had same problem or is it just me?
Did you check your bank balance or the credit limit on your card ? Seems like no-one ever tests these things before releasing into a production environment ! Shoddy if the error message isn't more specific than "something went wrong". How helpful is that. Cheap IT system designers and/or business analysts.
My understanding from the previous (limited) communication was that current subscribers would be updated on their subscription details are being transferred across to the new platform. Seems that isn't the case at all. Can't help but wonder if that was just another ploy to keep subscribers subscribing (i.e. paying) in the meantime.
I did have a similar problem when trying to register on a relatively old iPad, but then going through the same procedure with a more modern iPhone I had no problem. Could be linked to the capability of your device.
Thanks for this. Don't think it should be a problem of the device but will try through another route. Still very unimpressed but of course that's normal Hull City at the moment.
I had no problem. Went on TigersTV...clicked on the IFollow link...registration was fast and easy. Paid US$9 for the Gillingham game since I now live in the US. Got a receipt in two minutes. Couldn't have been simpler. Hope Saturday is just as smooth.
I'm a Gills fan did exactly the same. Just clicked on my clubs IFollow link via my laptop and was set up in a matter of minutes, £10 for the game. Then downloaded the EFL IFollow App onto my Android, and can mirror it to my tv, as I'm not sure if IFollow can be chromecast yet.
So does everybody have to register with iFollow then ? At the bottom it says International and previous customers of Tiger TV have to but no mention of everybody else
I just tried to register and it wouldn't work for me , clicked the create account button and nothing happens not even an error message
Sort of glad it wasn't just me! I found clicking on the link in the email sent yesterday, I went through the process and got to create account and it didn't work. Today I went in through the website (cringe every time I click on Hull City Tigers) and clicked on Ifollow in that and appear to have created an account, Hope that works for you.
