For every selected expert, there is another saying the opposite, but they either get no airtime on the msm or they get ridiculed like Piers Corbyn on gmtv or like the Edinburgh professor in the link I posted earlier. The debate is not permitted. Why is that?

I see Johnson is now promising millions of tests that will give results in 15 minutes. Brilliant.

    Is it June 1st yet?

There are six people in my household, which means that if anyone comes to visit, someone's going to have to leave. **** off.

I will be breaking the law on a regular and continual basis.

    It all seems rather pointless........
I can sit in our crowed restroom with 17 of my colleagues no problem, but if we go to the pub together after work then that’s not allowed......but it is if we stay in groups of six.......but luckily enough we’ll be ok if we go to a wedding afterwards and can even have another 12 people there, but then if I’d had enough, i still couldn’t go to see my brother, his Mrs and their 4 kids for a BBQ (veggie option for me).

Big thumbs up for the government.....

This #coronavirus seems to be mutating and getting cleverer by the day. Now it seems to know when you’re ‘at risk’ in the supermarket but perfectly safe in the pub. Remarkable.

Not forgetting that it's picking the better Greek islands for a holiday in the sun and it's clearly fed up with living in ICUs.

I like how woke it is. It will not infect you if you’re at a BLM rally but it’s highly contagious the minute you gather to protest these draconian lockdown measures. It’s truly a virus for the ages. Clever these Chinese bio engineers.

Pubs, coffee shops and restaurants have invested in a anti covid force field/barrier at the doorways of the premises. Maybe supermarkets should buy some as well!

Weird how this virus doesn't affect places where people can generate tax and keep the infrastructure going but affects places where you can enjoy yourself.

and had no problems with people at gatherings of over 30, providing they were blocking ambulances and stopping the printing of newspapers - and not bringing down the nation by going to a wedding or a funeral

^ ****ing lunatics. Let’s finish the country off once and for all, because of largely symptomless positives.

    Let’s borrow another £500 billion.

Let’s demoralise kids at school as they sit in one chair at one desk virtually all day, interacting with far fewer others than usual and all the ducking weirdness that goes with it.

Let’s keep that fear level up and the stress, as Sage said, fear levels are not high enough.

Let’s put the nails in the coffins of thousands of small and medium sized businesses.

On a personal level there have been a few positives for my family.

1/ Twins starting ‘big’ school has been a lot less traumatic than it could of been. They stay in their classes and socialise in their year groups. Seems a lot less stressful and worrying for them both (Twin 1 has ASD and Twin 2 is anxiety prone.

2/ Gym visits are a lot better than I thought. You get 50 mins, that is enough for me to do by weight training, people actually clean the machines after use and the cap wearing twats don’t sit on a machine for 20 mins txting on their phones or updating Facebook.

3/Got me free cake, biscuits, chocolate and bread for a few months...though sadly that’s dying off a little bit now (except for the bread from the local bakers).

4/ You all clapped for me on a Thursday night for a few months.

Glass half full and all that, eh ? :)

Apparantly the next step is to rename movies and stories to coincide with the new restrictions. Snow White and the 5 dwarves and the Magnificent 6 to name a couple.

Agree about the gym bit.....booking system for an hour, in between 15 minutes of sanitisation of equipment by staff......works really well.....

Another plus is that my pension losses from March have almost been recovered......so not all bad :emoticon-0148-yes:

Big problem with this ****ish virus are some of the mid-long term effects.

We both suspect we had Covid back in April (99.9% certain), and I'm back to full health but my missus, who only had a mild case (lost taste and smell) is really struggling, and has now been diagnosed with Post-Covid syndrome. She's been off work for nearly 2 months, suffers from brain fog, dizzy spells, heart palpitations, involuntary muscle twinging, banging headaches and a pile of other symptoms - the GP has told her she's got a list of patients all suffering from the same ailments, and has no idea how long this will take to settle.

One search on Google will show you there are thousands suffering from the same thing.

And no one knows what that will mean in 5/10/20 years even for those who have had it without symptoms, which is a bit of a head ****.
