You're only as good as the players you're playing with apparently, so we will be exactly the same as last year unless we make 6 changes
They are more likely to prove mid-table to upper mid-table standard on previous records. The relegated players equals poor/average players argument is inaccurate and a little daft. In recent seasons we have signed the likes of Ba, Remy and Rondon from relegated clubs, and sold players like Wijnaldum when relegated ourselves...
I read in the papers today that we're not actually buying Fraser - it's all a misunderstanding. Mike Ashley has just made an offer on his house.
Hmmmm. I still find it odd that there were all the rumours about Chelsea wanting Wilson, and then he opts to come to a shower of **** like us. Anyone coming our way knows it's gonna be a miserable season, and that the likes of West Ham, Villa, Sheff Utd, Wolves and Burnley are far more enticing prospects these days. Either lack of ambition, or a huge signing on fee.
Well he wants to play and earn his way onto the England squad. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...-bournemouth-team-mates-needs-premier-league/ Some think he has a hatred of Aston Villa too.
He's from there... Im telling you there's been a big project sold to this player He hasn't just come here to fight rejegation for 4 years it wasnt it down to Shearer talking to him or watching goal either... Thats just the other ****e
So what he's still more at home down there and Villa are the 5th richest club in the Country .. He had other options.
From their message board: ‘Wasn’t against this one but if someone ‘prefers’ the barcodes f… off and fill yer boots mate!’ ‘Imagine uprooting your family to live in Newcastle, to play Bruceball and to play with zero England Internationals just because your from Coventry and its cool to hate Villa there.’ https://www.themag.co.uk/2020/09/as...nce-for-newcastle-very-well-newcastle-united/
Seriously don’t understand anyone cribbing this signing. People looking at his record are just looking at stats. If you’ve seen him play, the lad is very useful. The stats are all well and good but how many starts, how many injuries, was he playing in injury plagued sides not getting chances, there is always a whole plethora of things to consider. Also saying he has come here for money etc, come off it. Make your mind up, we are the tightest arse club on the planet one minute, then persuading players with money the next. Some folk are just never happy. My only concern with him is injuries seem to prevent him putting strings of games together looking coldly at his career. With Carroll and Gayle already dominating our medical facility, we don’t need another striker in there. Hopefully though it’ll work out. I’d love to see is bid for that Irish kid from Brighton. I like him, he reminds me of Bellamy with his energy.
Great news to see them sighting any other reason than they can find as to why he chose nufc rather than him being sold a better project.
Aye that’s him. I just have a feeling someone that effervescent would go down like a house on fire with our fans provided they can play and he can.
Have to say you can see both these players are excited to be at nufc.. Looking back at the interview with lazafo for example it was clear he didn't from day 1..
