Little harsh mate. Horse didn't need to win by half the track. Little training session. Opened up its lungs with a run out to keep it match fit. Won with ease and did as expected against poor opposition.
Take a look at the shocking market at Wexford - 11 runner race and 8 of them are single digit odds. Scandalous.
It was also .25 secs faster then her other Kempton prep when she beat Crystal Ocean. One would imagine she was fitter for this though. Haven't seen the race (any links?) but I doubt we can tell anything from the race. No doubt Frankie and Gosden can. I'm not going to be too surprised if she is retired before the Arc though. Tempting as it must be to make history, I'm sure not one of the connections would want to see her beaten in the Arc
The dreaded 4th! Oh well, ran a fine race in a really tough sprint, and finished very well. Winner, Dream Of Dreams, won impressively, for sure.
She was 1/14 Fav though and I am talking with a view to the Arc De Triomphe. The runner up today is rated 30 lbs below Enable and will probably be raised for only being beaten 7 lengths. I think Enable will have to come on from this a fair bit to win the Arc and having backed her ante-post I can't say I was impressed today and confidence has waned a bit for me.
Not in first 3 just seen result that must have been very close. Watched it on phone and looked to have got 3rd
We will all find out on Arc day but I just didn't see the comfortable dominance I would have expected from a potential Arc winner today.
I've already stated that I don't think Enable will place in the Arc I just don't think anything can be taken out of today's race
David Egan Has been woeful today, looking for, and finding, trouble everywhere, even in the race he won. Is Frank his mentor?
Both won pretty comfortably. Bullfinch sat at the front and let them all come under pressure in behind before going further away. I felt he might be well handicapped today and it looked that way, with nothing else really showing with a winning chance. He will likely be thumped by the Handicapper for this. Dream Of Dreams travelled pretty well throughout and found enough to score quite nicely. The camera work seemed awful in the closing stages and I reckon either the director or the Camera Man must have had one eye on Pornhub during the race. If only all doubles were so easily landed. Two singles and a double yielded nearly 25/1 your money. Happy with that for a Saturday Gin fund.
That's fair enough but I would probably have pushed her out to 7/2 after today's race and trimmed Love slightly.
