Anyone think Brighton might struggle? I know they got the job done but they were pretty awful. Not much better then when Houghton was there.
We can’t really highlight sackings as an issue with managers. The vast majority of big club managers get sacked. Other than Zidane, Klopp and Guardiola, I can’t think of many who just left. You have the likes of Koeman and Poch who leave teams like us, but then they went on to be sacked. Everton’s signings do look good, but that’s if they work out. If they don’t then in two years they’ll have to have another rebuild and they already have one of those on their hands when you look at wasted money on players like Walcott, Sigurdsson, Delph, Iwobi and could even throw Kean in there although he’s pretty young. As someone below said though, Everton doing well is one less club looking to poach Ralph in the next summer or two.
If Villa sell Grealish they're fooked. Second-season syndrome for them too. Could be looking at a sub-20 point finish.
13 points from the last 12 games seems a bit tuneless to me, and a bit like the new manager bump has worn off. Agree the squad isn`t very good however.
I would like all the teams that play in claret and blue to go down - but I think it will be West Brom, Brighton, Villa
I think Sheffield United are going to struggle this season, they haven't brought anyone really in to push the group on. West Brom are obvious candidates for a relegation fight, Also Newcastle too could be In for a long season.
I'm going for Villa, Fulham & West brom to go down, Citeh for the title. 1.City 2.Liverpool 3.Chelsea 4.United 5.Arsenal 6.Spurs 7.Leicester 8.Southampton 9.Wolves 10.Everton 11.Sheffield Utd 12.Leeds 13.Burnley 14.Newcastle 15.Brighton 16.West Ham 17.Crystal Palace 18.Villa 19.Fulham 20.West Brom
Yeah, West Brom to go down... ...and then up... ...and then down... ...and up... ...and down... In fact, have they ever played Norwich? Or do the two of them just keep switching places?
With a distinct lack of Saints transfer news or rumours, we have resorted to talking about relegation. The life of a Saints fan!
I do know that. I just thought of Nosferatu and the more I thought about that movie, the more I wanted to say it. To be fair, he did predict the rise of antisemitism and the growing fear inherent in German nationalism pre-WW2 so he wasn’t entirely hopeless.
