Despite him never playing the bloody thing, I think I'll have a hell of a job getting it off him, he likes it hung on his bedroom wall. He also listens to The Who all the time, I've no idea where he picked that up from.
The thread that refuses to die. Keep on Jamming, it's all good stuff. To those who moaned about this thread. You appear to have wasted your time.
It certainly was. Did his cousin also play? We were trying to sort out getting another lad up with us too, but ran out of time before we started our set.
His cousin does play but didn't on the night. He doesn't take lessons any more and is largely self taught. They complement each other with differing styles. I think you are talking about the lad my son does lessons with - he sang as well as played during his set.
Your lads certainly got talent. I was impressed with his rendition of Blackbird. Put me to shame, I only got through 3/4s of it, couldn't remember the rest. I had been on free beer for 4 hours at that point though!
Thanks for that - nice to know my money for lessons isn't wasted!! Spent last 2 nights running him from guitar to piano to band practice... Waiting for him to come home with me other lad and a car full of guitars, amps and drums!!
You little minx OLM !" I WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN" by you. Anyway just going to see if i can still fit into my "ZOOT SUIT" then i am off down to the cafe to show them who is the " PINBALL WIZARD"
Cheers Moss, My daughter has now had several lessons with Richard and she is doing really well, She is gonna do a song with him in Springhead sometime in July, Like your lad did, Thanks again.
