    CASH AGAIN 28/1 Hexham 6.00

Returned from a lengthy absence 38 days ago with a low key effort but with that run under his belt he will surely be fit enough to do himself justice now. The yard have been having a purple patch and I reckon their patience with this one will be rewarded.
He races here off 96 which is 10lbs below his last winning mark. My one reservation is the trip but he really shouldnt have too much trouble seeing it out.

By the way. Why do 33 people look at the daily thread when nothing has been posted? Maybe they think they can go racing? I will let the two off who made a like for our unsung hero, Attivo.

In the first at Bath 7lb claimer Emma Taff goes on port noir . Port was a c/d winner back in july of 57 but goes of 60 tomorrow less the claim . 20/1 on offer looks very fair

I've seen it a lot higher than 33 before now... I've thought the same...

Could it be that some people just want to check the times of meetings and whether they're jumps or flat races?

Or is it just that people are too lazy to buy a paper, so let good old Attivo do the work for them? <whistle>

    Uttoxeter

    12:40 Suny Express

Warren Greatrex has a good record at Uttoxeter and his Suny Express has hinted some promise in bumpers last season. Its interesting that Suny Express holds an entry for a competitive looking handicap hurdle (class 3)on Sunday so must have shown something encouraging at home.

Looks like the handbrake will be off FULLBECK GIRL in the Bath 5:05 today. Last run at Windsor really should have seen the stewards having a word.
Trainers explanation today will be “drop in grade and a more suitable trip”.

    Uttoxeter 1.15 Layerthorpe

Won 3 times in a row last season and unlucky to be brought down 2 runs ago. Last time 3rd of todays mark wasn't a bad performance (possibly needed the run after a break). Decent conditional booked and Debra Hamer has a 33 % strike rate with her staying hurdlers. Looks to have a nice each way chance.

Maybe some people look at the thread and are tempted to post but aren't brave enough?

Some forthright opinions are given on here that are sometimes uncalled for.

    5:35 Too Shy Shy

Another horse returning to AW after not showing as much on turf. This horse is a good front runner and has Hollie Doyle on. This has looked his trip and this course should suit his run style. Hopefully she can dictate the pace and prove too much for closers.

I think Wishfull Dreaming might be worth an e/w poke in the 3.20 Uttoxeter. It seems ages since he won the listed bumper at Cheltenham on New Years Day 2015 for the Whateleys and Phillip Hobbs and he has certainly failed to live up to that early promise. He went via OIlly Murphy to Sam England and managed 3 wins in 2019 and finished off last year with a fine 2nd in the Grand Sefton off a mark of 127. He was probably over the top when disappointing at Doncaster is January and has been given a nice break and had wind surgery in the interim. 14/1.

I think Apres De Luge will win this, he's a lovely type and won with plenty in hand last time. I was very surprised to get 11/10 on him.

I do like this horse at an each way price, he took a couple of runs last season to be at his best and as you say he has got a very decent jockey booked. I thought he was well overpriced at 11/1 this morning and i've done him in an each way double with Go To Court in the 14:20 who I thought had shown enough in both runs this season to suggest that he can go close in a race like this and the drop back in trip should be perfect.

Not my style Stick as you know but some are sensitive to all manner of things and maybe some lack confidence.

At the end of the day I would like to see more people contribute to the daily thread as it promotes and supports discussion.

    13:50 Uttoxeter - Veiled Secret e/w

(Tricky race, but selection has as good a chance as any on form. Decent best price of 12/1 at the moment.)
