Problem is. Mercedes are so dominant that they can stop development early and get a head start focusing on new rules. Also easy to do with the largest budget on the grid. They can't be beat at normal circumstances.
I get that it's getting pretty boring now, even I'm getting fed up with Mercedes always winning. But what can we do, Ferrari have had a monster budget topped up by F1 for years now and look where they are today. Unless Mercedes are seriously cheating then it just feels wrong to keep trying to punish excellence. It's a tricky one to try and fix, and even if they do fix it then in all likelihood we'll just get Red Bull dominating again. In a world where simulations are so accurate it's difficult to get an unexpected result.
Glad to see both walk away. Antonio Gio The Taxi proving his worth once again whilst the likes of Hulk sit out of the sport Come on Bottas, get a bit feisty for us with Hamilton FFS.
Bottas is a number 2 driver, no different to Rubens at ferrari. When he gets to close Mercedes tell him to back off. I love to see Hamilton in the same car as Verstappen, Leclerc or Ricciardo.
It makes no sense for the team to let them fight. Bottas needs to qualify in front, but he was pasted in quali by Hamilton.
Mate, as much as I’d love what you say to be true, I’m afraid it’s just illogical Hamilton hate. The only difference between Hamilton and Bottas is leagues- Hamilton in a completely different one. The only people who would come close to him are Max Verstappen and Charles LeClerc. Hamilton has the quali pace to go head to head with Max and the race management experience to fend off Le Clerc. He’s like a mix of the two. I don’t love Lewis, but he’s been top class since the moment he arrived in F1. Ask Fernando (2xWDC) Ask Seb (4xWDC) Ask Jenson (WDC) Ask Nico (WDC)
Is max complaining about vibrations to tempt Merc to pit Bottas? I am sure red bull can see if there are vibrations!
There isn't even much going on in the field, apart from out of place drivers. There is something wrong with these regulations. Also what ever the FIA have done to the Ferrari engine, it's too much. What a sad sight watching cars overtake the Ferrari's from half way down the straight. It's too much.
Having said that maybe Red Bull would rather force Merc to stay out on those tyres. It might be their one weakness.
