Much improved once the subs came on. Broken record, but our midfield can be pedestrian at times, we found a way every game last year, but it will be a hard slog this year with a similar set up. Keita looks much better and is quickly becoming first choice, taki looked good when he came on, interesting that he freed up space for firmino. Again we desperately need a midfielder who can join and run past the attack to open up the space.
I hope so I know I am doom and gloom but since the winter break last season our form has been pretty poor All joking aside I know they have had a lot of plaudits but we have not looked breathtaking for a while I hope Klopp gives them a rocket !
If ever a team had to show that we need someone pulling the strings in midfield, that was it.... Klopp is a genius
So much of our creativity comes from the FBs and the midfield holds back to accommodate them bombing up-field. Hendo gets up there more these days, and Keita, but he's only really hitting his stride. A more creative midfield will obviously give us further options when someone has Trent and Robbo sussed, but I still think Klopp will try to play his usual way unless it's really failing badly.
Funny game this one. We started with Milner to stop Aubameyang but ended up ditching that tactic when chasing the game. Plan A is much better. Happy for Minamino though
We have these Arsenal guys again at home on September 28th. I am expecting a response, tough month ahead because they will all raise their game against us
