Stopped buying these first season they started for those very reasons.
The quality was gash as well.

Harrogate had a decent little spell there but comfortable save by burge.

 

Power, Gooch, Maguire, Wyke played a lot of games last season, are they good enough or improving enough as a unit to get us out of this league. I have my doubts.

 

Wyke looks poor today imo. Doesn't look mobile enough at all.

 

We've not started any of these friendlies quickly, haven't most of our goals been scored second half.

 

I know this is only pre season but they need a ****ing rocket up their arses at half time. Poor so far

I'm glad we are playing ****. The last thing I wanted was the same starting team as last season. Like to see more of Feeney, O'Brien, Neil and Grigg (starting).

 

Awful game, worrying as well, better get Messi i mean Danny signed on Monday, where's Benji ? Harrogate should be winning they had chances.

 

Well that was ****ing dull, Harrogate look better than us. They can actually hold onto a ball, pick their own men out and have a centre forward who can hold it up without giving a foul away.

same as last 2 games really, have to give credit to harrogate for creating more chances, onien and maguire working the hardest, wyke back to his slowest best i'm afraid...waiting for the subs to change things 2nd half.

problem i am having atm is we seem very pedestrian until those mass subs are made and that is not something allowed in a regular game...surely pre-season should be all about trying things that can be used during normal games, while it is good to give everyone some minutes it should not come at a cost to a genuine team selection imho.

 

No real balance or quality in the outfield five is a problem, corners, and throw ins have been dire for years, other teams look like they practice on them, we dont.
