The one man I have truly loved. Has been playing a bit for Spurs a bit more lately and started tonight v Magic's Shamrock Rovers. Definitely involved in creating Spurs' best chances so far. Now that we're good again maybe he's someone we could look to purchase in January?!!
Townsend looks class, wtf did Keane send him back last season, best winger at the club in years!!! Would love to get him back on loan, we could do with at least one more winger!!
Hamps I don't think that was the case as I remember Keane saying he'd sent him back because he wasn't in his thoughts because he was too attacking or along those lines, it was probably a mutual decision. Even so though wtf di Keane not put him in his team? especially with the rubbish and lack of quality we had in our team this time last year!!!
PTC - Keane chopped and changed his team every week and Townsend got dropped to the bench and then completely for one game. Harry Redknapp said at the time he was recalled because he might as well not play at Spurs as not play at Ipswich.
