Amit Bhatia @Amit_Bhatia99 A bitter sweet moment for us all at @QPR to see you leave. We are sad to see you go but wish you the very best for your future @EbereEze10 - a class act both on and off the field, thank you for everything - you will be missed but we wish you the very, very best always.
This encapsulates what I believe is happening at the Rs and we should rejoice. Wigan, Hull, Bury and Wednesday will not be the last clubs to suffer the effects of bad management, Covid pandemic and the lack of supporters across their threshold. If we come out of this stronger than we went in it will be a miracle ...but one of our own making. There might be a few clubs that try and go for broke in the next season...but this might be the start of a" great reset" (copyright butthuber2020). I am hopeful we might be on an upward trajectory
message from Toni Leistner: Thank you QPR FC was a special chapter in my life. Dreams have come true. Especially in my first season. Also a Big F*** thank you to the amazing supporters who always pushed me.
Made in London would be more appropriate (North; West; East and Where West is Best W12 ... before even heading South)
Depending on where he goes Eze could play against Messi next season. I say good luck to him and look forward to some new players coming through.
Good luck Ebere! Definitely one of the all time best Rangers to watch. I really wish he was staying with us and helping us get to the PL next season, and that we could have sold some of our next best players, but not the best, the best to get bums on seats when allowed, to raise the funds we need to use, use to strengthen the defence to start with. I wonder too why we sold him to Palace if the stories WBA had offered more are true, and that Fulham and possibly Arsenal were still interested. We seem to have sold him in a rush, when waiting until at least later in this window, perhaps until the next, would have increased his sales value. I'll dream we can get to the PL soon, and bring Ebere Eze back home.
Just seen that we have paid off BFG2 and then he signs a contract with a German club. Surely this club should have paid us a fee for him? Have we been suckered?
They couldn't afford his £20k a week,we give him a payoff they give him a contract on wages they can afford simples
I will always remember Eze's QPR debut in January 2017 in our FA Cup fixture at home to Blackburn. He only lasted18 minutes before injury forced him off but, in that short time, he was my man of the match. I do not exaggerate, he was incredible that day. As I said earlier, we owe Ian Holloway a debt of gratitude for bringing him to the club and I think we have got a reasonable fee and a useful upside in selling him to Palace. As well as having a great footballing gift, he seems to be a likeable, hard-working, and down to-earth young man. I pray those traits endure in the heady atmosphere of the Premier League. I wish him well.
**** me, he is some player. All the best kid, it's been an absolute delight to watch you. Rip up the premier league!
Simples? Why should we pay his wages for a year and give him away for free? Surely they should cough up something?
He wont get a years money, there will be a settlement, he is not in Warburton's plans he wants to be back in Germany, would rather have him out of the club rather than stinking the place out, Kolne couldn't afford him & Hamburger can now so it suits all parties
It really is simple. If Warburton doesn’t want to play him under any circumstances, he is a liability not an asset, and we are paying him for literally nothing. Yet why would he leave, even on a free transfer, if it leads to a cut in wages for his final year on contract with us? If we pay off the remainder of his contract (in reality we are probably paying the difference between what he will earn at his new club and what we would have paid him) everybody is happy - he gets to leave knowing he won’t kick a ball with us, he doesn’t lose any salary for the next year, we save a bit of cash on his wages. Simple. Peter said it better.
Birmingham interested in Lumley. https://bluesfocus.co.uk/2020/08/28/qpr-stopper-linked-as-keeper-search-continues/
Would have liked - no, LOVED - to see Freeman back at the KPFS if it didn't work out at Sheffield United but I guess there's an affordability issue surrounding someone dropping down from the Premier League.
