You can now understand why the club have been a little reticent to reveal the scores of any friendly fixtures that have happened behind closed doors.
Perfect social distancing by our club. They didn't even turn up. (The opposition even scored an own goal).
See where they are in 46 games (or however many they play). Doesn’t matter where they are...as long as you can see it
I know it's only a friendly, and it's 'only' U23's, but humiliations don't help the cause. Especially when it comes hot on the heels of the humiliations of the 2nd half of the season only just gone. I know I'm a negative twat at times, but I'm getting more 'concerned' by the day.
I mean not all the time. I remember back in May 2008 when that volley hit the back of the net that it was our day, destiny, meant to be, we were going up. So, see, not a negative twat all the time.
Not sure where I'd fit on your negativity scale GFAW. I didn't believe that it was our day, destiny, meant to be, we were going up, until Bo caught that cross in the 95th minute. Even then a little bit of me thought we'd **** it up.
Emigration is very cathartic - just moving to Leeds from Hull may be enough to shed the 'Ull syndrome
(you could immediately tell it wasn’t...there was no mention of why it was late, or an anecdote about the night before’s shenanigans)
