Gone to West Ham on a one-month emergency loan deal.

    Thoughts?

Good riddance, hopefully he impresses there and we will get rid.
He is realistically 4th choice but that is still too close to the first team for my liking.

He seems a nice enough fellow and all but even the thought of him between the sticks for us again is scary, better for both club and player that he moves on.

I take it Arsenal fans don't like having him in the side then. <laugh>

He's actually not a bad shot stopper ironically :cheesy: but he's a nervous wreck, losing concentration regularly resulting in regular howlers and would not command his area if lining out in an under 10's game for midgets.

Seriously a move would be warmly welcome by all I think <somersault>

  7. Oh no, not at all Mr Viking.

It's just that we feel for Manuel being on the bench and having to walk his dog for exercise. He deserves a full time, first team post elsewhere :emoticon-0136-giggl

As Gunner said, he's a nice enough fellow.

First thing I was thinking mate, but we cannot turn down the chance to get the fawlty Spaniard Manuel out.
The term emergency loan is certainly very apt for this move, there must be a raft of mad cow disease after wiping out
half the goalkeepers in the country when the Hammers are taking this man on board...

I think he's better than Rob Green so he should be fine.

Not as bad as people make out, not good enough for top 10 in the EPL (should be ok for us right now then *chortle*). Had that one great season with us but has zero confidence. No chance of replacing Chessers so all the best and all that.

I agree with you. I don't think Aluminum was all that bad, he just wasn't top quality. He will do a job for West Ham as long as he doesn't have a jittery defence in front of him.........

I thought he was only behind (and I'll spell it phonetically) Chesney in the rankings at Arsenal, so I was quite shocked to see the news this morning. He'll be top class for West Ham IMO, but then, I said the same about David James at Brizzle City and he's normally **** for them.

On a similar note I heard Diaby is just injured and not, in fact, dead... which is nice. I guess.

I wish Manuel well, the guy played for Arsenal, did not say a bad word even though it was hard for him sometimes. He did not make but still deserves some respect. I have hear Diaby has diabytis. Footballistically speaking it is almost dead.
