    Ernie Ball super Slinkys should be Ok Dean, I use them on my gretsch and they seem fine,

    Despite him never playing the bloody thing, I think I'll have a hell of a job getting it off him, he likes it hung on his bedroom wall.

    He also listens to The Who all the time, I've no idea where he picked that up from. :emoticon-0105-wink:

    It certainly was. Did his cousin also play? We were trying to sort out getting another lad up with us too, but ran out of time before we started our set.

    His cousin does play but didn't on the night. He doesn't take lessons any more and is largely self taught. They complement each other with differing styles.
    I think you are talking about the lad my son does lessons with - he sang as well as played during his set.

    Your lads certainly got talent. I was impressed with his rendition of Blackbird. Put me to shame, I only got through 3/4s of it, couldn't remember the rest. I had been on free beer for 4 hours at that point though!

    Thanks for that - nice to know my money for lessons isn't wasted!! Spent last 2 nights running him from guitar to piano to band practice... Waiting for him to come home with me other lad and a car full of guitars, amps and drums!!

    Cheers Moss, My daughter has now had several lessons with Richard and she is doing really well, She is gonna do a song with him in Springhead sometime in July, Like your lad did, Thanks again.

    I,m sorry if that link has a potential problems Elroof, and I hope it hasent caused you any problems. As I stated in my post I never used that software, and was merely trying to help Dean out with some free recording software. :emoticon-0111-blush:emoticon-0111-blush:emoticon-0111-blush
