We are weaker only at centre back by arguably one player. Yes we have lost Berardi in that position but i think Stuijk is the straight replacement as cb cover after Ayling. If we replace White with Koch or even get White by some miracle then i don't see us as being any weaker. The same team/ squad we watched last season are already better then up to 10 prem teams on last seasons evidence. 10 teams who are not strengthening either. Yes I would love to us sign the likes of Rodrigo or Origi but still believe the likes of Kent and Brewster are more important to Bielsa as he looks to get more goalscorers all over the pitch not just up top.
Yes I get everyone frustrated but none of us know whats going on and you know its bed when Journos in the UK start looking for UK based players to link us with and some have even started linking us to everyone who left the club. So stories about Origi, Brewster, Cook, Holding are todays stories because it seems most if the action has been happening abroad where journos have better links but all gone quiet so last weeks stories regurgitated. Huge clubs like Valencia in La Liga having to have a fire sale and same in Germany.
Morning all, getting Kent in won't be as easy as some think. Rangers are under pressure to stop the hoops winning 10 in a row this season and the fans and Gerrard might be a bit miffed if they let one of there best players go. I agree with Ristac above and hopefully a bit of activity comes about this week. We don't want to be a month into the campaign before we can compete because players have to get up to speed with Bielsaball. Quite a few said that Bielsa would either go spectacularly well or fall flat on its face in the Championship. On hindsight, he was always going to be successful in the Championship, the PL is a completely different kettle of fish and so we need to get our skates on.
TBH I'm just happy to be out of the Championship. Anything after that is a bonus. I'm sure the club are working their tits off to bring the right player/players in. But at the same time we don't want to be held to ransom.

If Struijk goes out on loan then we definitely need two centre backs. I can't see it myself unless we got Koch AND Holding.
