There is the tiniest part of me would love to see what happens if this guy took over....however, my doubts are pretty strong. Feels like a huge publicity stunt to me
It's about time we had someone who has the clubs best interest and not just lining their pockets with lazy recruitment... On another note, we went to Southampton for the weekend, my son in law plays for Romsey fc in the wessex league 1 and its roumered that Red Bull are showing interest in buying Southampton fc... It's only roumered but he is pals with James Ward Prowse, just wondered if there could be any truth in the rumours? MSD have loaned Southampton £80 million and the Chinese owners have lost interest...so its watch this space I suppose...
I have to add, I have quite a positive impression of Rodwell. I know he was slated as a ‘boys club’ move when he came in, folk saying he’d not done well at a smaller club, but then we’ve all seen folk blossom as they’ve moved up in the world. My impression is he’s putting his graft in and he seems on the face of it to be doing alright generally. I withdraw this comment if the shambolic decision to still have staff furloughed a few weeks from kick off is his.
Interesting. I spend a lot of time hanging around non-league but I've never been to a Wessex League game though a friend of mine was physio at a Wessex League club for a bit. Is that Step 5? What are the attendances like at Romsey?
I don’t think it’s either personally, as I said in previous he seems to be working well in his area for me. He seems very involved with all the going’s on.
Someone messaged it through think they’ve read it wrong I should have double checked before posting sorry
agreed he would be has to be in the right position though, he’s in charge of recruitment at the minute which shouldn’t be the case
You will see thousands like me and the lad buy our season tickets again whether we can attend or not. once any takeover has been completed.. Not a penny more to Donald but We are prepared to back the new owners..
I’m not bothered who owns the club I support sunderland through thick and thin We as supporters have no say in who owns the club or who plays You just get behind your team and support whoever where’s the shirt That the least you can do
