As quill alluded Man U are in it too David Gill is in it for Man U especially since they have lost their domination it’s why they hate Man City and PSG new money who could disrupt their dominance.
The European Super League is one of the worst things that can happen to football. The number of clubs that will die because of it will make Bury's demise a monthly occurrence across the continent.
Finally! Best bit of football by Bayern and it pays off. Of course it comes from the former PSG player Coman as well.
The money is killing the game and clubs anyway. A super league would rake in loads of money for them, the question is would what is left be a saleable thing and would the price be high enough to fund all the clubs.
That's the way I see it too. The major money (TV, internet streaming) will all be directed to a European Super League. The cluibs involved would probably get full houses (turnstyle revenue) every game and many supporters would stay at home/go to the pub and pay to watch the televised "Super League" matches. All of that would put severe financial pressure on clubs who were not in the "elite" class. Long gone, sadly< are thegrass-roots supporters who'd go to watch clubs like Darlington, Preston, Blackburn or even WBA & Palace. I fear for the game. Would amateur football survive to act as feeder sytems to the top clubs ? I have my doubts.
