Amazing finish to this game. One of the worst misses I've ever seen from Sterling and then Lyon go and finish it off at the other end. Bloody love football
Nah, see I’m pissed off with football, never 1-2 for me, but Raheem needs to seriously look in the mirror at that miss.
That miss is the sort of thing you expect from him in an England shirt, usually so reliable for City. As for the 2nd Lyon goal, im assuming you mean the foul rather than offside? Ive not seen a close up but on the real-time replay he barely touched him.
On this occasion I agree, the player wasn’t interfering and Walker wasn’t fouled. City made far too many mistakes, that’s why they lost.
I still don’t understand how someone running towards the opponents goal, in an offside position, can step over the ball and continue to run forward, and not be deemed to be offside, by virtue of interference. I think this law really needs to be reassessed for so many reasons.
While many are bemoaning Manchester City's exit, I would be very happy if SFC could have a similar season!!
Before MCFC are crucified yet again for their apparent failure in the CL, it took Liverpool.about 12 or 13 seasons of European football before landing the big one, whilst Alex Ferguson took a similar time period in charge of the other lot before landing the jackpot. At CL level, City are still relatively inexperienced compared with the hardened regulars.
Ever Banega playing for Sevilla tonight. Who remembers us being linked to him in the past? I certainly wanted him signed up and if I remember correctly, so did quite a few others...
