seem short prices for what they’ve achieved , it’s more on reputation , which we all know is a sticky wicket .

    Morning all...

Ripon 3.15pm Gunmetal 9/1 each way.

He won this race off a mark of 97 2 years ago and today races off 87 but with an apprentice up top this is effectively 82. Ran quite well last time out at this course. Form figures at this track read 1st, 2nd and 3rd. He clearly likes the track and i have a feeling this has been his main target this season. Only slight worry is further rain up there today but has a big chance!

    Good luck all..:emoticon-0167-beer:

    Mr 140
Escapability at around 13s which looks way to big in my opinion .the tote seem to be the only one giving them the respect they deserve at 7s , small e/w bet whilst the odds are there

    SOCIALIST AGENDA 9/2 MR 4:00
Breaking a few rules here. Backing horses in bumpers with a penalty, opposing FOB....
However, this fella won without coming off the bridle over course and distance this season. The runner-up ran second to the useful Miss Farage next time out, the third (FOB horse) has won twice over hurdles and the distant third was beaten a neck in a bumper. That form looks pretty rock solid to me and while he may have to work a bit harder he looked a very useful recruit.

In the football today I really cannot understand why my local boys are 2/1 to beat United. United have had another very ordinary campaign and Sevilla are the kings of this competition.

    Not sure I agree,

Art Approval is third in the market and quite rightly so too. Owned by Rupert Lowe (Fergals landlord) and is interesting on his debut over hurdles. He probably needs to run to 115 to be involved, his full brother is Authorized Art who is with Mullins and is rated 130. It’s certainly possible that he could be good enough to win this and I like him as a type.

Triopas is fourth in the market and has a chance on his form with Tom Lacey. He was fancied on his return last November but wasn’t right afterwards and has had another break. He looks well handicapped and the Olly Murphy horse is making the market. 15/2 looks very fair on form.

Cage Of Fear looked interesting last time out when weak in market and running well to a point. He has been well supported today and doesn’t surprise me that he is now to the fore in the market. If they’ve got a bit of improvement from that run he will go well again.

The Bees Knees is a lovely horse and it doesn’t surprise me that he’s into favourite. He ran well on his racecourse debut and now looks a bigger stronger horse. I’d be disappointed if he doesn’t run above that debut effort and as such you’d have to think he will be one of the most likely winners. The fact he’s been backed and the yard have lines through Ultimate Getaway and Courtanbould for the other runners suggests that some confidence is abound. If two of the others win I expect he will shorten further.

I’ve done the L15, will also do a place bet of them as well.

A lot of whip waving but not much application when running green in a typically competitive Windsor maiden. Went in the tracker and the form from the race has done nothing to put me off.

I think Golden Apollo for Tim Easterby in the 3.15 @Ripon at 16s will be in the frame.
Having a decent e/w on this.

This looks a minefield but the conditions should suit elagant love and the 9s on offer looks more than acceptable

I’m with you on Sevilla mate and i can’t believe they are 3rd favorite to win the competition at 3/1 so I’ve had a bit of that too. Good luck mate. Have a good day. :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0167-beer:

Going for two at big prices against the field in the Great St Wilfrid.

Citron Major 28/1. Was 3rd in this last year and runs off 2lbs lower today. Usually runs well over this C&D with a couple of wins too, although wasn't great last time wasn't far behind Gunmetal who is a lot shorter, just think 28/1 is big for this.

Highly Sprung 28/1. Won on reappearance but then was only 6th last time in the Stewards Cup consolation race but was denied a clear run twice and could easily have finished a lot closer. Will need a bit of luck but with a clear run could be there abouts.
